On the second Future 4.0 meeting/meetup, organized by the SAŠA Incubator, Gorenje and Kolektor in Velenje, we shared knowledge, advice and experience from the start-up and corporate perspective about properly addressing sales of innovative technological products or solutions for which the market is not yet developed

At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, a demonstration center "Smart Factory" was opened, which is the only and unique case in Slovenia, co-financed by Kolektor. It was created in line with the GOSTOP program, the largest program of the Smart Specialization S4 in the field of smart factories in Slovenia The idea of the demonstration center is in line with the basic idea of the smart specialization S4, which is to demonstrate the innovative application and deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies and the concept of a smart factory in a real industrial environment.

On May 9 and 10, representatives of the venture capital fund Kolektor Ventures attended the Pioneers Festival, one of the biggest start-up and technological conferences in Europe held at the Hofburg palace in the center of Vienna. This years event brought together over 2,500 participants from the global start-up community, among them 500 carefully selected, representatives of corporations, investors and high-tech companies.

At the Microsoft NT Conference, largest Slovenian business-technology event, Kolektor and Microsoft announced long-term partnership collaboration in developing solutions for smart factories based on artificial intelligence technologies and IoT. Companies expect to set foundations for innovative products and solutions for the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) through in-depth collaboration within Kolektor program of digital transformation.

After the high-profile conference Future 4.0 organized by SAŠA Incubator, Gorenje and Kolektor in November last year, the first Future 4.0 meet-up was dedicated to the topical subject of staffing - how to find, lead and motivate the best engineering personnel. We were looking for answers to this question with our interlocutors, such as Andraž Logar, director and co-founder of 3fs (which received the regional IT Gazela award for Gorenjska), Voranc Kutnik, Agile coach and Licensed Management 3.0 Trainer and co-founder of CorpoHub, and Mateja Lavrič and Marko Thaler, the Kolektor Digital management team members.
